Enterbay BL 2.5 Body

Bought these from Singapore as I was getting a Fist of Fury Bruce Lee set from SSF member, Nash, as a trade ^^.

I got a 2.5 version because the FOF set already has the BL 3.0 normal standing posture body. The difference between a 2.5 and 3.0 is that the 2.5 has a battle 'hunchback' mode.

Anyways, here are the pics:

Sideshow Darth Maul X Medicom Darth Maul = Ultimate Darth Maul

Been a while since I last updated my blog, as I've been using my phone to browse. Laziness, something I have to get rid off^^

Anyways, another one of my purchases during my trip to Singapore. Another Maul. Can't seem to get bored of this dude here. My second Maul from Sideshow (Inclusive Version), since my first was a Medicom one. now not that I'm not satisfied with my Medicom Maul, mind you. Just that I kind of prefer the clothing and the belt on the Sideshow one. But more of that, and the comparisons later!

Here are the pics:

But I gotta admit, I was just taking pics of the SS (Sideshow) version Maul, just for the sake of it. I was kinda disappointed with the head sculpt, and the pose-ability of the body SS uses. And I was really rushing to swap the clothes and the belt to my Medicom Maul since, I saw someone did it, and it look top notch! So I apologize if the review on the the SS ones isn't that detailed!

Comparison pics (Sideshow on the left and Medicom on the right):

It's obvious that the details on the SS version of the the belt and the shirt, is far superior compared to those of the Medicom ones. But Other than that, that's about the only thing that really excels. Both lightsabers are quite similar, very plastic looking. But I had to go with the SS ones, since it would fit the holster on the SS belt.

And there's more added value to the Medicom ones, since you get more hands, and pose ability. But one thing that I really like bout the SS inclusive one is that it includes the damaged lightsaber! It even have a 'burnt' feel detailing at the end of the lightsaber!

And last but not least, the binoculars:

Medicom ones are better in details. Don't really do much, but sweet to have anyways :p

And finally, I give you, the ULTIMATE Darth Maul!

Hot Toys Hellboy

One of my pick ups from my trip to Singapore last week. Hellboy from Hot Toys. The most detailed 12" Hellboy, heck, prolly the most detailed Hellboy fig ever made, period.

But my first impression when opening this out of the box wasn't a very good one. I wasn't really pleased with how the rubber body turned out, because it was quite constrictive and I could only do a limited poses with the rubber body. I was even planning of selling it, as I was having a buyers' remorse!

But as soon as I got home, I opened it anyways and placed it on my diplay shelf, and damn, does it look good! It looks perfect next to my other HT figures, that I've decided that this one is a keeper!

I also noticed all the little details like the belts, pouches, rosary necklaces and the outfit. This is something that you can only come to appreciate when handling this figure; not something that you can get from the pictures alone.

Anyways, nuff said. Here are the pics:
